Stranded in your own country

<p>Two seats booked on Qatar Airways flight 06 Se*** 14:30, one stop over on the way to the UK. Two care givers on their way to jobs to care for the elderly. The pilot became ill so the flight was grounded before take off. No stand in pilot was recruited to take over and after several trips back and forth to the airport hotel no backup flight offered. Eventually a whole 24 hrs later a flight was made available. Surely a huge company with world wide travelers has a better contigency plan than this. Why are we always at the mercy of huge companies that only care about the bottom line and believe me thats not customer satisfaction. </p>
