Qatar suitcase claim

Loved the flight from NewYork to South Africa, service and food excellent. My suitcases dit not arrive, 3 days later courier delivered .. thanks. My complaint is my suitcase lock mechanism was broken , I can not use the expensive suitcase in the future I laid a claim.. Response… we will pay you $26…. I can not buy a suitcase for that money Qatar please replace the suitcase and keep the $26.
