Qatar CPT in posession of lost property (iPad), but holds on to it and does not communicate

Qatar Lost and Found found my iPad, which I had forgotten on their plane on August 1, 2025, but held on to it without providing appropriate communication for 3 weeks and counting. Doha sent it to Cape Town almost two weeks ago, but all I get from the Qatar office in Cape Town is silence. Why is this? Have they ****** it? Lost it? Waiting for a bribe before they'll return it perhaps?
