Qatar Airways - Unresolved CANCELLED Flight

Qatar Airways cancelled our flights back from Santorini to Doha. My parents, who booked directly with Qatar airways, was offered an alternative flight back from Santorini to Doha (via Athens) on the same date.

We have exactly the same offer, in writing from Qatar Airways, where they are willing to accommodate us as the error is on their side. They however require our booking agent (Travelstart) to contact with them in order to get access on their portal to schedule the changes.

It has now been more than 3 weeks, back and forth with Travelstart and Qatar Airways, to try and get these flights secured. Travelstart blame Qatar airways for not responding to their queries. According to Travelstart, the last query to Qatar was booked on 02/03/2023 by Brandon, with no answer received back from them to date. I don't know who to believe anymore. I just know that this has been a ********** experience, and that I'm being prejudiced by all of these flight changes that was made outside of my control. And I honestly don't understand why Qatar Airways cannot secure these flights when we deal directly with them to get this resolved once and for all.

What adds to the discomfort, is that all our other flights has also subsequently been re-scheduled by Qatar Airways. This is now resulting in long, uncomfortable 8 hour lay over in Doha vs. the initial 1h 15min lay over at the time of our booking in November.

Our Visa booking is next week Friday and we need this cancelled flight from Santorini to Doha resolved well in advance before then. All I can say is that at this point in time there is no end in sight to this nightmare and that I don't look forward to my long-awaited holiday anymore.
