Qatar Airways - Going Places Together… just not with your luggage

Qatar airways didn’t load one of our suitcases at Doha when we were there for a layover. Now they clim that it is the problem of the destination airport, Schiphol. I fail to see how the destination airport can be held accountable when the luggage wasn’t sent to start with. We’re onto our second city already and almost about to fly home to South Africa (via Doha again). My nerves are shot, our holiday money had to be spent on replacing items and the airline also is not very forthcoming with assistance in covering the cost of having to replace stuff. My daughter’s birthday holiday had to be *****ed with stress and unplanned for cost, not to mention that our one day in Amsterdam had to be in shops instead of sightseeing…What the heck?!?! And then they try to explain that handling luggage is intricate… it is prt of the blinking job isn’t it?
