Qatar Airways - FALSE ADVERTISING

I live in Doha and frequently use Qatar Airways (QA). I have been booking business because of the comfort level in spite of being usually double (sometimes triple the price).

Recently, I flew from Doha to Kathmandu on flight QR 652 (Airbus A320). I boarded the plane and discovered that the B-class seats were just 2 rows of 6 seats. I was unpleasantly surprised that the usual roomy fully-reclining capsule seats that I had been booking were not on the flight.

Their website advertises the capsule seats on the AIRBUS A320.

http://www.qatarairways.com/global/en/fleet-airbus-A320.page

I submitted a complaint via the QA website.

http://www.qatarairways.com/global/en/tell-us.page

"I usually book QA Business class because of the seats are large and comfortable offering a full-reclining seat. On a recent flight from Doha to Kathmandu I was unpleasantly surprised to discover a Business Class seat on the A320 to be small and uncomfortable. I found it extremely unpleasant to use the pull-out tray, watch movies, and use the buttons to adjust the seat. On the QA website there is a total misrepresentation of the seats.

http://www.qatarairways.com/global/en/fleet-airbus-A320.page

I am now dreading the flight I have to take back to Doha on the ****. I feel deceived and extremely unhappy with QA. I would like some compensation for this deception."

QA rep**** with a standard customer service response.

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Qatar Airways Customer Care.

We are reviewing your comments and a member of our team will revert to you with a response shortly. In the meantime, please take a note of your case reference: ***************.

If you wish to provide additional information or follow-up on your case please reply to this email.

Kind regards,

Qatar Airways Customer Care"

QA did not reply so after 48 hrs I contacted them via the previous email.

They responded within 20 minutes.

Dear ************,

This is in reference to your email dated DAY MONTH YEAR which was relating your recent experience with Qatar Airways.

We endeavour to provide and maintain at all times a consistent and reliable service and regret to learn of your disappointment with the type of aircraft assigned on the Doha - Kathmandu route

Constructive feedback plays a vital role in highlighting problem areas and enables us to improve our services.
