Low cost but not worth it

<p>My son and friend flew to Morocco last year on Qatar. They booked a return ticket from Cape Town. Their baggage was 30kg each and booked all the way to Casablanca. When they stopped over in Doha then were put on an air Moroc flight operated by Qatar. On leaving Casablanca they were once again put on an air Moroc flight but were forced to pay 1500 durum for overweight as well as reduce their luggage to 23kg. In total it cost Approx R10000 and they are students. I have got nowhere with emailing Qatar who just tell me to contact air Moroc. No air Moroc in SA. I didn't book with air Moroc and as Qatar admitted, it was a Qatar airways document (emailed eticket). It even says on there "Air Moroc. Operated by Qatar Airways ". I could have bought another return ticket for less money than I lost. </p>
