HORRIFIC self-claimed "5 star airline" with ZERO customer service

Qatar Airways claims to be a "5 star airline" however they not only lost my colleague's checked bags (both) but they told him it would get into Maputo that evening, which it didn't, and then went onto say they could not find it. Doha has it listed as on the plane and Joburg claims it never arrived. They then went on to give him a phone number to call in Joburg and that phone number just rings and then it says "mailbox full." When I tried to find another number to call to help him, I found FOUR advertised phone numbers for Qatar and Qatar Joburg, only the last one actually worked. I then got a lady claiming there was nothing she could do that we just needed to go to the airport. I said a 5 star airline has no working phone number to call when THEY lose bags? They have been incredibly UNHELPFUL and UNAPOLOGETIC. We will NEVER be flying with this "5 star" airline AGAIN.
