Horrible Travel Experience with Qatar

Hi Folks I’m writing this review to report my bad experience with Qatar Airlines, I booked a return flight from Johannesburg to Dubai. First lap to Doha was the worst, I was literally starved the whole entire 8hour trip. The flight attendant served lunch to everyone including the lady sitting next me and literally skipped me, so I waited thinking she probably ran out of dishes. They literally just left me like that. I pressed the service button, she comes. I’m like you forgot to serve me and her response was “Sir you were sleeping” wow! The white lady next to me even laughed about it. So she’s offers me a choice of chicken sandwich or pizza. I don’t like pizza so I ordered the Sandwich. Then she comes back and just throws the box of food and quickly rushed off. I open the meal box it’s Pizza. I call her again to tell her you gave me a wrong order. She then says sorry sir chicken is finished. I’m like you could have told me instead of trying to force me to have pizza. I then ordered a glass of wine which till today I still haven’t received. As I type this now I’m in Qatar Airport on my return to back to Johannesburg, the flight from Dubai to Doha delayed due to bad weather so I missed my connecting flight to Johannesburg. As I landed in Doha went straight to the Transfers Terminal B where I waited for just over 5hours in the queue for anew boarding pass which was issued to me at 12noon for a flight to Johannesburg scheduled for 2am. I was promised a a hotel room and a food and drinks voucher. It’s 8pm now I’m so tired, feeling ill and I’ve been to the counter they say they don’t have a hotel for me. I even requested they put me in a lounge so I can freshen up and rest. They say the lounge is full. By the way I went to the same lounge to enquire and they were open for walk ins. Guys if you want to have to worst travel experience ever in your life book Qatar.
