Damaged luggage - 9 months later no compensation

In October 2019 I flew from Doha to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town I discovered that my Hard Top, Mia Toro Italian suitcase of 2 years, with a 25 year Guarentee, was completely broken on the one side. I brought it under the attention of the airline’s help desk. CPT***. My suitcase was collected by the airline to replace it. Today, 17 June 2020, I still do not have my suitcase replaced, or any payment for my suitcase that was at that time 450 $ USD on the internet to replace.
