Changing the details of my plane ticket.

We booked an ticket to go to Thailand after I pay nly wanted to changed my details they said its not allowed and when I told hos where in the terms and conditions does it say it the gentleman told me I need to go on the website. Please avoid Qatar air as they don’t have any customer service!!!!!
