Quantas - above and beyond the call of duty

I met a few of the Quantas crew a few weekends ago. As we left, i mentioned to them that a friend was flying out from Australia on Quantas the next day for a great friend of ours’ funeral. They asked for his name and i didnt expect anything further. To my surprise the friend mentioned that the crew on the flight approached him during the flight and said that they had heard he was coming to SA for a funeral and could they do anything for him. The lengths to which the quantas crew went was quite remarkable and shows an empathy and compassion for their customers, which is hard to believe in this day and age. Well done to Quantas, for instilling these values into your organization, and to the people involved for making a difference
