42 days with no update on status for license renewal!! :(

I submitted two applications for car license renewals along with payment of fees on 7 Sep 2020 and have received zero feedback on my applications. I have followed up multiple times via email, Facebook and telephone and am unable to get a hold of anyone to give me an update. Per their automated unhelpful email it says "Capetown and KZN 7 – 10 working day’s" in regards to estimated processing time.
