Unable to return a defective item

<p>I purchased a baby bottle from Pylones Mall of Africa. i have used this bottle once and the cap has turned white. I called Pylones Sandton City and they agreed to replace the cap. When i got there on Saturday the staff on duty basically told me that the cap has turned white because of something i had done. Eventually they got the manager that i had spoken to and he agreed to replace the cap. they were then unable to exchange the lid because was bought in Mall of Africa, i dont understand why because it is the same franchise. I call mall of Africa and they basically tell me that they can resolve the issue if i have the original package and the till slip. I do not have the till slip or the original package because i was not expecting to have the item returned but surely if an item is defective we should be able to have it return.</p> <p>i am really not impressed with the service</p>
