PUTCO BUS AND DRIVER COMPLAINT

To whom it may concern.

I would like to complain about the unacceptable pattern that I have to endure this week.

The 8108-Hillbrow bus usually comes to the 7 stop in Union Road Eldorado Park at around 06:20am everyday. However for the last week there has been a new driver that arrives earlier than it should. I leave home everyday slightly earlier than the day before, in hope of catching this bus but everyday it arrives earlier than the previous day. As a result I wait another +/- 30-40 minutes for the next bus (which either does not arrive or when it does refuses to go along the normal route). Today I waited from 06:15am till 06:45 for the next bus, the 8126-Hillbrow bus arrived. It stopped at Chicken Licken in Hillbrow and refused to go any further. The drivers name was Jonas. At this point there were still a few people in the bus that get off along the normal Hillbrow route. He insisted that he will not go to Parktown when no one requested for him to go to Parktown but stop at the Hillbrow police station. He refused and everyone had to get out of the bus. I pleaded with him that I am female, I do not know how to get to work from where I currently was dropped off and that I am in a very unsafe area (Hillbrow), to which he rep**** (Unfortunately I cannot help you). One man remained behind in the bus after the driver indicated that he will turn right at the chicken licken and return to the depot and after I got out he then proceeded to go down the road further dropping off the man at his destination (and not turning right as he said he would). This shows direct favoritism, no regard for human life and safety and no empathy for the passengers that he was supposed to transport. I am utterly disgusted in the appalling treatment that I received and I would like for this to be addressed as soon as possible.
