Old food

I bought 5 Purity baby food from Pick'n Pay, I checked the expiry date its January 2019, When I got home I took one to feed my baby, Decided to taste it first, to my supprise it was too Sour I couldn't even swallow it my self, Had to throw it away. Now Im stuck with 4 bottles at home becouse they are the same flavour. Just imagine if I didn't taste if before feeding my baby what would have happened?
