Appalled at purity n Checkers

Iam always on the lookout for specials on baby food,I walk into Checkers last Friday the 01/02/19, I find that the purity sachets are R7.95. They were the cheapest in the whole of pavilion mall.I bought quiet a few and bought a sectional bowl with a lid and a feeding cup with a straw, on Sunday I fed my 4 mnth old baby 1 in the mrng and 1 in the afternoon, Monday for some reason I was curious at the taste coz I always taste what my baby eats,the yogilicious tasted sour but brushed it off as the yogurt flavour, so now my 4 mnth old baby is eating 1 to 2 ,2 a day. On Thursday afternoon for some reason while feeding her I look at the expiry date n find to my horror they expired in 2007. My baby is teething and has all the teething symptoms, diarrhoea, loss of appetite so am now thing what if it's not her teething but the purity coz they were made 12 years ago. I taken them to Checkers the next mrng n ask for suppliers number,they gave me n were shocked at what they saw. In had found 2 expired n my baby had consumed quiet a few already, I was given tiger brands rep number whom I contacted this mrng n was useless, he asked for batch number n told him I'll give him in a while coz I was at work. When in called him back he said he was at Checkers n I told him that so was I,we could meet,I wanted him to taste the 1 flavour I knew was off, he refused n said it was a misprint. I'm confused if it is a misprint how can my baby be eating 12 year old food.expiry was supposed to best before date and for me that made it worse coz clearly he was talking without thinking. I then bought myself lunch and went to work. Around 1 I went for lunch to find the salad I bought at Checkers was boiling ,it was off,I was fuming coz I bought my food early to save me lunch time,I pack up n go back to Checkers, I go to the ladies who serve the salads n they say go to customer service,I go get a juice n on my way back decide out of curiosity if they had removed the salad I was talking about n no they had not. I went n relate the whole incident to manager n he refunds me.I'm disgusted in Checkers n purity. I will no longer be buying at Checkers pavilion.
