Shocking after sales service
As an individual client needing a filtration system, AVOID Puritech at all costs. When purchasing the system, it was not made clear to me, that Puritech are providers of equipment TO installers and water engineers. I spent nearly R55K on a filtration system with NO after sales service. The only person who ever rep**** to my queries was the sales person. After a year, and after tearing my hair out, and getting several different independent opinons from filtration installers and water engineers, all of whom gave me the same news, I had to spend a further R38K on correcting the completely inadequate and "wrong" equipment I had been sold. This included replacing some of the equipment, abandoning a couple of totally incorrect filtration tanks, redoing some incorrectly installed doser piping, and changing the management of the PH imbalance which was already causing blue staining in the water (indicative of acidity damaging the copper pipes). The water will now be checked regularly, the system maintained every few months, and serviced annually as it should be. NONE of which I could get done by Puritech. AVOID them at all costs. If your installer wants to buy equipment from them that is their choice. But dealing directly with them as installers was really shocking and actually demonstrated misleading business practice. NO response to my emails to Customer Service, senior managers OR the CEO !!!!
