atrocious service for a 4star place

it is one of the worst experiences i have ever had. the staff first of all are unfriendly make you feel like you are intruding. we were a delegation of 85 there for a 4 day conference. they apparently forgot we were coming. the towels were removed from our rooms every morning and just dried. you did not know if you got your own towel back they were not washed. There was an aweful letter put on our beds saying they value their white towels and we mustn't damage them or throw them on the floor. The food was always cold and atrocious every meal it was beef strips in different sauce. we were told it was beef but found pork rind in it. the first night the braai i can't even find words. the steak you ****d someone with. the sausage was black and burnt, dry. for desert a couple of packets of marshmallows was thrown at us with sticks and we were told twe could braai our marshmallows and that was desert. Other deserts at meal times consisted of a sloppy mud dish that we were told was sago pudding. the custard we did not finish the one night was presented to us the next day with a couple pieces of fruit salad and chopped up biscuits in it that we also did not finish at the one tea time. the rooms were dirty and you could see the dust. i saw the one cleaner mopping the floor of the chapel and she was using old stinky water from the fountain outside i didnt see clean water or a chemical in site. I have been on many conferences and have stayed at 4 star places before but this doesnt even come up to 1 star. i dont recommend anyone to use this facility and actually would like to see the place closed down until there is commited right staff and a proper chef in the kitchen.
