I booked a travel package through a travel agency who made use of Pure Sports for the one leg of the journey, namely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Liverpool Football club playing at their home ground in Liverpool with accommodation for 2 nights. The occasion was for my son who will be turning 21 and this was intended to be a gift. <br> We received the package amount of R25700.00 for the match tickets and accommodation, which we paid. The position in the stadium, we were told, was not certain, but that we would get the best tickets available. The match changed dates from the 11th April to the 13th April and although we paid the above amount in Dec 2014, the tour operator were informed of the change in Jan 2015. <br> We arrived in Liverpool to find out that the hotel booking was made on a discounted rate that did not allow change, which in essence, meant we landed up for paying 3 nights accommodation instead of 2. The tickets we received were probably the worst position in the stadium and nothing near those requested . To add insult to injury the face value of the tickets was GBP 49. We thus paid ZAR 8867.00/ ticket worth only ZAR 882.00. Answers please!!!
