Abysmal ethics, quality of workmanship and service

Pumba's Pools were commissioned and paid a 60% deposit 29 October 2014 to refurbish my pool - remarbalite, change filer sand, lay new mosaics, lay new coping tiles, commission pool post refurb. The start date was delayed by 6 weeks due to builder delays. Work began 1st week December. Within days Mitch asked for an additional R 6000.00 which I paid him 8.12.2014 under duress that the work would not go ahead. He was paid the balance in full on the 19.12.2014 and assured me all was good. I had endless problems getting the Zodiac to work post commissioning of the pool. We dug up the pool pipes, Bryanpark Pools took the Zodiac apart, it turns out he never changed the filer sand. On top of that the marbalite began to crack. His attitude was that he would come \have a look when he was in the area". He eventually changed the filter sand"
