Worst rental agent and *******

I have never had trust issues until I dealt with this agency. I was told my property would be taken care of as I was unable to collect all my goods on leaving the flat that I rented from them. Now that i am back in town and need my property, i was told that the fact that I handed over the keys to the apartment means that I do not need my property. Really?? This is after the caretaker had said he was going to store my goods. Now I have to replace my goods and some ******** mind is having the luxury of using my property. Not impressed at all.

Dear Ms Dube
The last rental payment we received from your in respect of this flat was in November 2014. A notice of cancellation of the lease agreement and notice to vacate the premises by the end of January 2015 was delivered to the premises after you stopped paying your rent.
During February 2015, the caretaker found the premises vacant with the keys left in the door. In our opinion, you absconded the premises and we deny your allegation that the caretaker offered to store your goods.
An outgoing inspection of the premises was held on 28 February 2015 during which no ***ets, furniture or other personal belongings were found inside the premises. The flat was completely vacant.

Dear Ms Dube
The caretaker denies having offered to store your goods. The storeroom he showed you, is where the landlord stores things left behind by tenants who have absconded. The reason he showed you the storeroom, was to give your the opportunity to see for yourself that we did not have your property.
As mentioned in our previous response, the flat was found vacant with the keys left in the door.
