The worst letting...
We stayed at Lakeview (Florida, Roodepoort) under Pulse Living. The place was not in good condition when we moved in (there were million ****roaches, and a rotten cupboard). After moving out of the place 3 months later, they sent us an invoice of R3 000 maintenance. What maintenance, if the place was not in good condition?????

This existence of ****roaches was not evident when you were given occupation of the unit and was never brought to our attention during your 14 month tenancy. The rotten cupboard, caused by an internal leak, was only discovered after you vacated and was repaired at the landlord's cost. The final charges relate to the paint contribution, replacement of light bulbs, inspection and cleaning fees and final water charges. These were all raised in line with the terms of the lease agreement.
