Pulse is the landlord who received your rental payments via EasyPay. The EasyPay payment process and fees can be described as follows.
When making a payment using the EasyPay method, payment can be made at an EasyPay vendor outlet such as Shoprite, Checkers and Pick & Pay. Vendors raise vending fees for this service and the fees are based on the payment method. Fees will differ depending on the method of payment used i.e. cash payment vs card payment. Fees also differ from vendor to vendor.
Pulse has no contractual relationship with any vendors and therefore has no control over how the fees are determined and charged by vendors. EasyPay debits the fees against Pulse's bank account and Pulse recovers the fees from its tenants in terms of the lease agreements.
We trust that you find this explanation in order.
