Disappointing Stay at Silverstar Casino Hotel

I stayed at the Silverstar Casino Hotel, part of the Tsogo Sun group, on the 14th of January 2025, at a rate of R1900 per night. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations for a hotel of this standard and price.

Several issues stood out during my stay: 1. No Facecloths in the Bathroom A basic amenity one expects at any reputable hotel was glaringly absent. 2. Faulty Wash Basin: The wash basin did not hold water as it was leaking, rendering it almost unusable. 3. Non-Functional TV: The television in the room did not work, adding to my frustrations. 4. Substandard Mattress Quality: The mattress was of such poor quality that I could feel the springs beneath me, leading to an uncomfortable and restless night.

I reported these issues to Lucas, a staff member, only to be met with a smile and no meaningful response. This dismissive attitude further underscored the lack of customer care at this establishment.

Given this disappointing experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Silverstar Casino Hotel to anyone. For the premium price charged, the service and facilities were shockingly inadequate. Based on my experience, I doubt this review will elicit any meaningful response from Tsogo Sun, which only reinforces my dissatisfaction.
