Bad service

We took my folks and aunt out as a treat for dinner at Publicity. It was a Thursday evening, so not busy at all. In the period of over 2 hours, my husband only had one drink, as the waiter just wasn't around. The food was mediocre, but the service terrible! Every time we wanted another drink, we had to get up to go and ask someone. We then ordered irish coffees and desert. After nearly 20 minutes- nothing. The manageress then told us they were waiting for cream. After still waiting we cancelled the irish coffees. They then totally forgot about the desserts, which we then also cancelled as it was a ridiculously long wait. After asking for the bill, we waited yet again, only to see we were charged for the irish coffees! We asked them to take them off, then to see they had charged for desserts that never arrived! After another wait we finally received the correct bill. Needless to say, nobody was impressed. If they were terribly busy, I could sympathize, but there were hardly any people, so it was unacceptable. What was meant to be a lovely evening was ruined. Unfortunately for Publicity, they will not be seeing any of us again. What a complete and utter disappointment.
