In 2016 we received a call from provincial directory services regarding updating our details on the white pages. After updating our details on a form emailed, we were told that there was a cost to this service. The telesales person mislead us by telling us that they were telkom directory. After many calls, we send a letter to cancel the subscription as it was not beneficial to us. It was confirmed by Nomthandazo that since our details were already registered on the base, we would need to pay the amount of R5976.00 and the contract would be cancelled as we could ill afford this amount compared to the Telkom directory services. As well as the sales person selling the product to the company under false pretences, which has been raised with company in 2016. Therefore, we paid for the contract 2016 – 2018 in good faith, no renewal was ever signed. Now we are receiving harassing calls from a Kate White telling us that we must pay as there is no cancellation and according to the contract you are not allowed to cancel and a renewal can be done without us signing any new contact. What *******. I have tried to contact a director but it seems they never in the office. Now they threatening debt collectors, I will not pay for ********* business practice. If your receive a call from Provincial Directory Services, DO NOT entertain their lies and get caught in their trap.
