Proton Solar distributors STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!!! No after sales service. Poor quality products. Terrible communication. Don't be fooled by the positive ratings some people give. At first it seems that this company delivers products at a very good price, but a month or two down the line and everything starts to break or stops functioning. I bought about 16 x 120 AH Gel batteries from them. Most of them stopped delivering the expected backup time within a month or three. The battery life just gradually goes down until there is almost no backup. The defective products were returned to them at very high cost, as I had to drive about 900 km both ways to take the defective products back for replacement. They refuse to replace them, but only put them on charge and give them back. It took about 3 weeks for them to recharge my batteries. Only got them back now, but I can't see that they will be back to speck now. Also, I sent back 8 batteries and when I asked someone to go and collect my batteries, I asked them to send me photos of the batteries first. I marked all my batteries but out of the 8 batteries, two were not mine. They were old and damaged and full of dust. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for the return of my other two batteries, witch I will have to collect or courier at very high cost even though its their mistake. When I went to return the items on a Saturday at around 08:30, there were about 5 or 6 furious customers outside their shop as the doors were locked. It was within their business hours. There were people inside, but they refused to open the shop as they were "packing the shop neat". That was their excuse. I had to return on the Monday to get the shop open. They also refuse to give the store owners contact detail and won't even supply us with a name. I also bought a 7 KVA Skyking inverter that did not function correct from the very start. The unit does not switch over to battery power immediately. All power goes off and then after about 3 to 5 seconds, the unit's backup kicks in. I immediately notified one of the people working at Proton solar distributors about the issue and told them that I will return the unit as soon as possible, as I stay in Limpopo and can not just drive up to return it. After about 3 weeks of returning the unit for repair, I had to ask them what is the status of the inverter. They let me know that it will cost R2800 to fix as the motherboard needs to be replaced. I asked for a report from "their factory" and still have not received any report. Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
