Proton Solar Distributors in Valhalla Pretoria is one of the worst Companies I have ever done business with. I bought the Inverter system with two 100Ah Gold Shine batteries on 21/10/22. The batteries packed up on 17 March 2023 THUS ONLY 5 months. Unfortunately they were closed on 20 Mar 23 (Tuesday was a holiday). Their personnel are rude, they NEVER EVER call you back, their stories differ every time. They did however communicate with me via Whatsapp after two weeks. I received my Inverter batteries back AFTER 30 day on 20 April 2023, Take note nobody informed me, after promising for 4 days that the Technician will come to my place to check the system I just drove there. This is after I informed them twice that the batteries that they gave me back was not mine (18 months older than my batteries). AFTER the technician assured me they should keep for at least 4 hours with the few things I have coupled they are only now holding for slightly more than 2 hours. I am still picking up the courage to contact them again because with Load shedding almost constantly at Stage 6 I will for now settle for 2 hours than nothing. Everyone I know that have Inverters batteries keep for at least 4 hrs (just running TV, DSTV and Data line on system). Thus beware when you do business with this company, the after service is very poor.
