Poor Warrantee and support from Proton Solar Distributors

Ordered 2 120 AH batteries, delivered to me end of March 2020. They failed during March 2021. I asked what I could do and was told to bring them back to them for evaluation, which I did, 3 hours in my car. I was told that ECCO was a good supplier and they would return them and wanted my address for them to send out replacements. So far so good. After some time I enquired as to the status of the replacements and received a curt shot email.

"Goeie dag Ons het prober s***el, die batteries is meer as n jaar oud, dus is die waarborg klaar Groete HOPE TO DO BUSINESS SOON CHRISTA PAPIER"

Very disappointed I emailed for more information and possible compromise but not heard a word since. So no longer on my Christmas Card List I'm afraid.
