Double standard humiliation

This is a wholesaler to the public, you cannot buy if you do not buy in bulk. I have bought there previously, I am not a shop owner or retailer, but I buy 10 or more of something normally and they would let me. recently I was at Proto Trading and my partner was with me. we bought quite a few items, not in bulk though, but the basket was over flowing. When we got to the pay point the lady working there told us that we are not buy bulk and we cannot conclude our purchase. I said that I will go get 10 of a item or something and she stated that, that is not buying in bulk and cant be done. Looking over to my left I saw a lady paying at another point that had 3 of this and 5 of that and she is also having a singular sweet. The best part is that they sell and display and promote things singularly too, there was items like home decorations that there was only a few of on the shelf. I felt like a unwelcome ******** in the wrong, left my basket and went home.
