Protech - *****

Another car drove into my son's car in May, Protech kept getting hold of me saying they were recognised by the insurers, and they would tow it for free, then it came about they use different names for different insurers as my insurance claimed they were not recognised, eventually god knows how, the insurance company did use them, the bill was over 80k for a second hand car that I bought a year earlier for 119k - I queried the quote as the damage didn't seem that extensive and if it was shouldn't they have written the car off, somehow it was approved by the assessor but I can't get hold of his name - I put my concerns in writing to the insurance company, that was ignored, then the car was mean to be ready 21 May and obviously it wasn't, not for another 10 days, then the excess was quoted at over 8k but in fact should have been just over 4k. Dealing with this company raises the hair on my neck - all concerned in the beginning and then telling you to shove it once the insurer have given authorisation, I have written to Cart Blanche and hopefully they will look at it as the price also seems excessive - the whole process seems *****ed
