Protea moves disaster !!

I am extremely disappointed with the move from Queenstown to Durban !! Unprofessional !! We paid a ridulous amt to move my things from Queenstown Jan 2019 (we needed it to be done early in Jan) to include full packing (which means you pay an extra fee for packing of the boxes) Only a driver and and one helper (not a professional packer) came to pack and move everything (we had to pack everything anyway!!! And all on that day) - they didn't know how to pack glass items and we were basically doing most things The boxes that were brought were old and tiny ! We couldn't put curtains, bedding in it so we used our own big plastic bags. The tape ran out and we used 2 rolls of ours . They dropped my cabinet and broke it during the move and we paid insurance (they basically said they don't give the money back for this, it's only if it got damaged on the truck during the transport to Durban ) Then when we made a formal complaint we got an apology and about R900 back ( the man on the phone basically said are you paying the remainder of the amt or I will not make the delivery)

I'm very sorry but if a company makes so many mistakes why would anyone pay 13 300 ( less R900)

I will never use this moving company again
