The worst service ever. My power was disconnected end of October due to missed payment on my side. After this the total amount was paid as well as the reconnection fee etc. When I received my November invoice, I noticed that it is a large amount and I paid most of it. I enquired with Carmen why it was so high and she explained to me it is because of an increased deposit fee. WHich is totally acceptable as it was my fault that the power got disconnected in October. After I paid R1800.00 toward the R2300 account, there was still a balance of R500.00 left. I sent an email to info requesting if I can pay the R500.00 later / end of the month. I never received any feedback or response on this email and was never informed who the right person is to speak to and my power got disconnected again end of November. I spoke to Nicole when the power was disconnected and she agreed that someone was supposed to have the decency to reply to my email and inform me of the proper procedure to follow for payment arrangements. I paid the R500.00 as soon as I could which was still before the end of November. I am now being held accountable for the disconnection fee and letter of demand fee for the R500.00 on which I tried to make arrangments for but got ignored. They have threatened me again with a Letter of Demand today after multiple unanswered emails or professional service. I have phoned as well, left messages for Carmen who is my portfolio manager with Fiona. Every time I phone, they are too busy to take the call. I have three minor children at home and it is of absolute importance to have electricity for their wellbeing as well. They are very quick to cut off your electricity, but slow to any decent and reasonable customer service. I took responsibilty for the first time as it was my fault, but not receiving feedback on an email requesting payment arrangement for R500.00 and having my power disconnected again is unacceptable.
Best regards,
