What has changed is that the COJ water- and electricity tariffs increased on 1 July.

You are paying for electricity and water as you are consuming it, and nobody outside of your household have any control over that.  The credit amount on your wallet account will therefore decrease as you are using water and electricity inside your household.

You are also not being billed according to when you are at home or not - we do not have that information.  You are billed according to the actual consumption of electricity and water, according to the daily readings that are recorded on your individual meters.

Both the consumption of electricity and water in your unit is normal, and there is nothing that raises the alarm.

Please also refer to the monthly invoices that are displayed on your profile.  You will note that the account includes fixed sewer and -water demand levy charges.  The fixed charges are deducted in daily portions, reflected on your profile as shared services.  The daily portions are payable irrespective of whether a client is at home or not.  And when you leave home you do not switch off appliances like a fridge - that still consumes electricity even if you are not at home.
