Protea Metering is a ****, I don’t owe them anything yet they charging me a demand letter I know nothing of. Why are you so cruel? What kind of a business of this?

A letter of demand only gets processed automatically if an account reflects an overdue amount. The costs thereof gets charged on the next invoice - your account must have been in arrears at some point and even if you did bring it up to date after the notice was processed, the charges will still get billed to cover the actual costs for this service, as determined by the Council's tariff structure.
Please contact your portfolio Manager for more information.
Kind regards
