Protea metering smart meters - really?

Protea metering is a prepaid smart meter provider. They are supposed to automatically load your prepaid meter with electricity within 30 mins of payment. I bought electricity online this morning at 11 am and it is still not reflecting electricity on the prepaid meter. This is now the third time this has happened, where I have to send them a proof of payment from my statement after which they only resolve within 48 hours. Everytime this has happened they can't tell me what went wrong with the system. This is rediculous and pathetic in this day and age. These meters are definitely not smart and obviously neither is Protea Metering. The complex I am in has these meters installed for all the units and we are definitely considering changing to another prepaid meter provider.
