Protea metering ****!
Protea metering company is one of the useless company i ever dealt with in my life..they ***** from the needy people..i bought electricity from the app on the 27th of march even now it havent reflected on my account when i follow up the matter i was told that unfortunately they can't help me because it doesn't reflect on their system its been day 6 now ..the woman named Susan is useless on her own because she told me it will reflect after days. Another thing they combined the bill of electricity with water of which thats not possible when you buy R200 electricity it doesn't last for a week they ripping people off..im situated in Devland Gardens Flats...we want this protea metering thing out of this complex. I cannot even buy my family basic needs in the house i leave for electricity. Even now as we speak my electricity is on R11.81 it switch off now now!...PLEASE HELP!

- Protea is collecting funds on behalf of the Body Corporate = money goes to the Body Corporate
- Collections are according to promulgated tariffs
- Collections are NOT FOR ELECTRICITY ONLY - also included are the charges for hot and cold water, each being measured separately.
- Individual meters for electricity, hot water and cold water, reflecting actual consumption.
- Consumption controlled by the consumer, not the Metering Company.
For the last week payments reflected adds up to R160 - for electricity, cold water and hot water for a family...
Regarding the payment that is not reflected on our side - your query will be passed on to our Prepaid Department for their assistance. They will be in contact with you shortly.
