-=Protea Metering - Private Electricity Company None the better than Eskom!!!

<p>Absoloutely poor service from the ladies dealing my billing query at Protea metering meyerspark Pretoira. My bill escalated to 3 times the previous month and this with no one being in the house for the last week of the billed period. Over and above that my next door neighbour's got a electricity bill for R5000 for the same period.</p> <p>The manner in which both queries were handled was totaly different. He was kept up to date and informed of his query throughout and i just got emailed back the bill is correct. His bill was cancelled but i had to pay the full amount plus arrears plus reconnection fees plus letter of demand fees</p> <p>The meters are in the same box but apparently it is just to out there to think that there might have been a problem with my meter as well. They could only manage to investigate his meter and provide him with client service that you would think we are all entitled too. You would think that being with a private metering company would be better than going through Eskom but clearly in Pretoria East its not.</p> <p>They are rude and flippant and just do as they will probably thinking we are dependant on the service so they can just carry on. I wish one day the same frustration falls into their laps and they feel as helpless and annoyed as I do now.</p> <p> </p>
