Protea metering is a ****, I was not in my unit for 4 months last year and had my circuit breaker down but still had electricity being used even though I was not there. Also was using both geyser and heat pump and was paying less than R1000 late 2019 and started not being enough then I switched geyser then it was normal for like a 2 month then it was up again, then heat pump died and used a gyser and shot up I fixed the heat pump and not I was paying R1000 for 27 days, then in June I paid R 2000 while I am still using a heat pump which is not affected by the weather unlike a gyser. I called and keep getting a scripted message and finally after multiple calls I was put through Heidi who is our estate manager and was suppose to get back to me in 2 days, I waited for 4 days and when I asked to be put through her she says she is in meetings I must send a mail but don’t get a response. I want to know what I can do to remove my unit from protea metering because this is not on and I bought my unit. It’s at the heights estate Midrand unit 85. Want to go to Cart Blanche if I’m not getting help. Tied of keeping quite. Paying more or less the same electricity that people who live in a full house with 4 bedrooms in waterfall would pay which is the same district which makes no sensez
