Protea metering
This company they ***** money from people I bought electricity for 3days in row while I’m not even at home everything is off they don’t care can please someone help me I’m really tired of the emails I’m sending them they can’t even explain their own system they just ***** our hard earned money..please help I stay in Devland gardens flats(habitat property they don’t even care about their tenants)

You are well aware of the fact that Protea Metering is not only recouping electricity on behalf of the Body Corporate, but that the account also include cold water, hot water and sewer charges. You are also able to monitor your consumption on the OAMI platform to enable you to manage it wisely from your side.
Please refer to the emails that have been sent before where everything was explained comprehensively and the detailed information that you have access to was also included.
Kindly note that you are the only one who has control over how water and electricity is consumed, and that neither the Body Corporate nor the metering company has any control over the promulgated tariffs.
Your average monthly consumption ranges from about R300 to around R500 and that includes all the mentioned items, i.e. electricity
hot water
cold water
sewer charges
If you are purchasing for R20 or R30 at a time for all the mentioned items you may constantly receive a low credit warning.
