PROTEA METERING ARE ******** OF NOTE !
I’ve been staying at Birchwood Village for a year now , and since they started introduced Protea Metering for our electricity - it’s been hell for us ! Your electricity finishes unreasonably (I loaded electricity and went away for the night - but I came home to a NEGATIVE balance !) How ??? Whenever you call them for a statement of usage and how your electricity just disappears even though you’ve recharged , they don’t respond or they give very vague explanations . I stay with one other person and the only thing that uses most electricity are the gyser and regular stove use , but we have to get R500 electricity EVERY WEEK !! I’d highly advice everyone to STEER CLEAR OF ANY COMPLEX THAT USES PROTEA METERING !!!
Kindly note that we were not appointed for electricity only, but that you account includes other services like water and sewer as well. All items are charged according to the Eskom electricity & COJ water and sewer tariffs.
