Protea metering ****

Protea metering has charged me crazy amounts and cannot give a reason that makes sense when it comes to how their meters work,I live with my son and their meter shows that most of my units go towards hot water which we only use for bathing and dishes,I was on holiday for about 4 days and had units,there was no one at home however came back to no electricity,when i asked i was told the readings delayed that why i was billed which does not make sense coz the days they referring to I had units for,The amount one spends is crazy ,please help
