Power failure since Thursday
Power failure at only our complex which electricity is by Protea Metering, no notice was given about the power failure, since Thursday afternoon no electricity. Now food has spoilt, no smses sent since Thursday, no feedback from them, no one to check what is happening. I have been driving up and down to get myself ready for work and make sure my devices including work devices are operating. The petrol money spent and amount used to buy food that has spoilt. This is devastating, anyone to rent should never choose under Protea Metering you will regret.

Power failures are indeed devastating to all parties involved, as they usually occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
What should be taken note of is the fact that Protea Metering was appointed to provide the meter reading service and that power failures are absolutely beyond our control.
We are not notified by the Tshwane Council in advance - we do not believe that they are able to predict when failures will occur.
We will also not be aware of a power failure if we are not notified, hence the reason for non-receipt of sms notifications.
The amicable manner to get it resolved is for one of the residents or the managing agent to phone us so that we can report it at the Council and sms notification can be sent to residents.
Kind regards
Management: Protea Metering
