OAMI IS LOOTING OUR MONEY
This company is a **** and please stop giving us scripted responses we know our usage but you mean to tell me all these people complaining are wrong? How on earth do you tell me that I use 288l of water a day when we are two people in the house. No leaks happening. I go to bed with R100 in my account and wake up in a negative balance but magically when I loaded R20 it lasted me 2 full days. I loaded R60 and it lasted a day. YOU ARE EATING OUR MONEY and you know it. You need to be investigated there is no way in 17 days I am spending R1000 on you, clearly by end of June I will have spent R2000 on a household of two adults? And that to you is normal?

On your OAMI profile you are able to download all the readings for electricity and water. You should take note of the date & time from when a previous reading was downloaded to the date & time when the next reading is downloaded.
Your money gets depleted by your own household as you use electricity and water in your unit - nobody else have access to your supply. Only the residents of a household have control over the number of units consumed, the recording of readings does not influence that at all. 288 Liters of water used between 2 adults per day is absolutely within normal parameters.

You cannot be serious telling me we use 288l of water I am the consumer and I am telling you that’s inaccurate because even on days when I am not here you magically say I used water. COCT reduced water prices but you guys are definitely ********. One way or another we will get to the bottom of this. How is everyone on these comments complaining about the exact same issue and you just put the blame on us, do you not get daily complaints? We all don’t live in the same buildings how can we all be complaining about your ****s and you tell us of readings. Its your readings for all we know you manipulate them.

So yes indeed the consumer is responsible for how much is being used.
