Beware of Protea Metering
I stay in capital height, when your neighbor move out they change your neighbors water and electricity into your account .this has been confirmed by one of protea's employees. I paid R300 on the 14 of Dec, on the 18 of Dec I receive a statement saying I need to make payment of R442 to be reconnected, so within 4 day I have consumed R700 of both water and electricity.
DON’T OVER RENT AT CAPITAL HEIGHTS!

Kindly note that each unit has their own meters that are linked to the account for that unit only. You are definitely not paying for 2 units' consumption. If you are using more than normal, the cause of that must be in your household - more people at home for longer periods, possible water leak etc. Neither the water pipes not the electrical wiring suddenly gets changed when there is tenant movement.
