I moved out of my apartment in October 2014, and informed Protea Metering who continued to bill me and only managed to disconnect the account on the 1 December 2014, at a value of R2002.In the beginning of January 2015 they blacklisted me, without notifying me this has negatively affected my credit record. I then settled the account in order not to have them hassle me, in February 2015. They have made no attempts to remove from ITC, and my calls and mails remain unanswered<br> <br> Further more as a single occupant, my electricity bill was close to R1000 per month, I genuinely believe they ripped consumers off with their high charges.
