Concerned customer
I do not know if it is me or if Protea Metering is just a ****. I do not understand how and why I am receiving messages about a water leak that neither I nor the plumbers can see. On top of that, the meter is running, yet nobody is running the taps.

I have been unsuccessful in getting assistance from Protea Metering's help line. Despite numerous calls requesting a visit from their plumbers, no action has been taken. The most recent call ended with Thobile or Thobeka stating that THE SYSTEM IS PICKING UP THAT I'M USING A LOT OF WATER!!, which is puzzling, as I am seldom home.

Also note that we are responsible for the recording of the readings and that is why we are able to alert you to the fact that there seems to be a leak.
We are however not at all involved with any maintenance in your complex.
Please ensure that all taps are properly closed, check the toilet for any possible flowing of water and if it persists kindly get in touch with your Body Corporate or the Managing Agent for further assistance.
