Ubuntu Service Excellence

We had accommodation booked at Protea Hotel Kruger Gate and to check-in on the 27th Dec 2019, my father goes to emergency and ICU on the 26th and we couldn’t travel. I immediately asked Kulula to postpone our trip and they blatantly refuse regardless of the doctor’s letter. We then contacted the hotel and spoke to Pretty who went out of her way to assist us. She went with us every step of the way to assist us , after hearing our predicament,she trusted us and authorized Kulula to cancel and waiver the cancellation and took our word that we will rebook the trip and provide her with doctor’s letter as proof. She was very understanding, friendly and compassionate and took the load off our shoulders. She never got tired of taking my calls as I was going back and forth between the hotel and Kulula who was unhelpful. I was very emotional to see that there are still people in this country who have ubuntu and understand that tragedy does not make an appointment. Thank you Ms Pretty Ubisi for Ubuntu bakho, your selflessness and kindness has touched our hearts. You have showed us that you can still be human while being professional at the same time. It is our hope and prayer that Protea Hotels recognize your valuable s****s and commitment to your work in serving your clients , may you grow through the ranks of Protea Hotel and realize your dreams.
