Really nice attitude from the young guy who was manning the desk at Protea Hotel Montrose. I think his name was Schalk. Sorry if it's not. He is a young Afrikaans speaking guy. <br> <br> We broke down on the N3 , just managed to get the car into the Montrose complex. We realised we might have to stay the night. We walked up to the hotel. Schalk was manning the desk. I asked how much a room was and if there was space. He said they were fully booked, I think he took this to heart a bit because felt bad for us. He let us hang out in the amazing air conditioned reception for as long as we needed to, we ordered a glass of wine or 2 and he gave us the number of a place that did have accommodation just down the road.<br> <br> It really helped in a stressful situation. Although we were not customers he treated us very well and i'd just like to say thanks and well done.<br> <br> He deserves some recognition. What a champ!<br> <br>
